Founder Story
Zuri Mensah left Accra for London with her grandmother's recipes and a dream. What began as weekend suppers for homesick friends grew into Sankofa Kitchen — now one of Brixton's most-loved tables, keeping three generations of West African cooking alive in the diaspora.

Best jollof in London!
I have eaten at many African restaurants but Sankofa Kitchen is on another level. The jollof rice is smoky, the suya perfectly spiced. Will be back every week!
