These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SankofaX website, membership features, directory listings, and related services. By accessing or using SankofaX, you agree to abide by these Terms.

SankofaX is a global directory created to support, promote, and connect Black-owned and African-owned businesses around the world. Our platform provides visibility, networking opportunities, and membership-based listing services. To use SankofaX, you must be at least 18 years old, provide truthful and accurate information, and, for business listings, own or represent a Black-owned or African-owned business.

When you create a user account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details, using a secure password, keeping your information up to date, and ensuring that all activity under your account is legitimate. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse or policy violations.

SankofaX offers tiered membership plans, including Directory Basic, Directory Pro, and Directory Elite. Membership fees are processed through trusted third-party payment providers and may renew automatically unless canceled. Refunds may be granted at our discretion and in line with local consumer protection laws.

Members may publish business information such as descriptions, biographies, photos or logos, links, and service details within their directory listings. All submitted content must be accurate, free from copyright violations, and must not contain abusive, misleading, or unlawful material. We reserve the right to edit or remove listings that violate our policies.

You agree not to misuse the platform in any way, including by harvesting data, submitting harmful or malicious content, impersonating others, or using our services for unlawful purposes. All branding, graphics, content, and materials found on SankofaX belong to SankofaX and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Businesses retain ownership of their own uploaded content.

We may suspend or terminate user accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abusive behavior, or failure to pay required membership fees. You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings.

SankofaX does not guarantee increased revenue, improved business performance, or higher search rankings. We are not responsible for disputes between businesses and customers, and directory information is user-generated and may not always be verified.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, SankofaX is not liable for any loss of profits, data loss, business interruptions, or damages that may arise from using our platform. We may update these Terms periodically, and continued use of SankofaX indicates acceptance of the updated version.
